The remainded of the article are left here for historical purposes
Mole II is light years ahead of Mole.
Here is a quote from Josh Smith’s blog,
“That’s right, the visualizer which made Woodstock look like a toy is now dwarfed by its successor. Mole II is so incredibly cool, so fast, so robust, and so IMMINENTLY USEFUL that I can do it no better justice than to simply provide you with a link to the article about it.”
Mole II is a high performance, full featured Visual Studio Visualizer which allows you to inspect elements in the WPF visual tree or logical tree, as well as all properties of those elements.
Mole II allows developers to drill back into the managed heap and view properties and data structures. Keep in mind when I say drill into the managed heap, I’m actually speaking about drilling into the managed heap of another process and not Mole’s! How cool is that!
For each element in the visual tree or logical tree the developer can view all properties, visual image and run-time XAML.
For everything Mole, you can visit Mole II’s Home Page here: Mole II’s Home Page
You can read the Mole II Code Project article here:

If you are a WPF developer, trust me, you’ll want to read about and download, Mole II.
Just a grain of sand on the worlds beaches.
