Dave,

I'm going on another cruise next week to write code. This will give me one more HUGE application to prove Ocean and the techniques and framework I've written. Ocean will be very soon.

Once you start writing C#, it will start to flow. Like I said before, the C# editor is better than VB.NET.

I'm learning Objective C too so I can write native iPhone apps.

Cheers,

Hello Karl
Thanks for the reply. If there any way I can help with the documentation let me know.

As for C#,since most demos of new tech are in C#, I am starting to be able to follow it. I just think writing in C# is still just a little out of reach.

I've been looking at Objective C lately (IPhone) and it seems to actually help me understand C# better. I'd rather be using .NET to created XAML based apps for Windows Mobile but I'm getting old waiting for the technology, so it's IPhone.

Thanks

Dave,

In in the exact place I find myself on Oct 17th. I need a block of time to document what I've done.

Learning C#. Just sit down and start writing programs in C#. You'll like the editor for sure. It helps if you can have someone with you for your first program. After that, just keep a browser open so you can look up things.

I'm as productive in C# today as I am in VB.NET. Most of the differences are syntax. Lamda's and anonymous delegates are something you should read up on so you understand that syntax.

Hope this helps,

Hello Karl
Any news on Ocean? Thanks
Also any suggestions for how a VB'r could best learn C#? I read you've recently done it and wondered what was most helpful (in turning to the dark side HA,HA)

Thanks

Dave,

I've finished BBQ Shack and just need to write up some documentation and make some videos.

I'm doing my very best to get BBQ Shack out next weekend.

BBQ Shack uses the new Ocean UI controls You will love this control. Non-linear navigation with a single line of code. You can have a UI with stacks of model windows, it allows you to slide them off the screen, display another UI and then come back to the stack. Best code I've ever written.

I've spend all my spare time upgrading XAML Power Toys to VS 2010 Beta2. When Beta2 is released, that will be my first blog post.

Cheers,

Hello Karl
I'm interested in how Ocean sets up UI screen navigation?

Thanks
